Back in 2017, I redesigned my business logo for Phos Moments. At the time, I was focused on lifestyle and wedding photography, and while I already had a logo, it never quite felt like me. It was busy, cluttered, and lacked refinement. I wanted something modern, minimalistic, and polished—something that reflected the kind of photography I loved creating.
The name Phos comes from the Greek word for “light,” which has always been central to photography—and to how I see creativity itself. With this in mind, I designed the new logo around natural tones and simple typography, keeping everything as clean and understated as possible.
The biggest challenge was choosing the right font. Once I found one that felt both modern and timeless, the rest of the design came together quickly. The result was a logo that felt uncluttered, light, and reflective of my approach to capturing authentic moments.
What I loved most about the Phos Moments logo was its simplicity—it was clean, polished, and finally felt like an authentic representation of my business at the time.
But as my creative journey expanded beyond photography, I realised the name no longer captured the breadth of what I do. I began creating websites and exploring other creative outlets, and I wanted a name that represented creativity at the centre of it all. That’s when Lunette Creates was born.
