Encounter Father’s Heart is a Christian organisation that runs three–day retreats designed to help people step away from everyday life and encounter God in a deeper, more transformative way. As a new ministry, they wanted a logo that captured their vision and created a bold, memorable identity.
The client requested a logo that would be bold yet simple, not overly complicated. They wanted it to reflect passion, transformation, and the idea of a changed heart. A heart symbol was a must—but rather than leaning on the familiar stylised heart, I decided to explore a more authentic and striking approach.
To communicate both authenticity and depth, I chose an anatomical heart as the central element. This gave the logo a sense of realism and groundedness, while still being open to spiritual interpretation.
The gradient of warm reds and oranges reflects passion, transformation, and renewal—visual cues of both fire and warmth. The clean, modern typography balances the organic lines of the heart, keeping the design professional and versatile across different mediums.
Interestingly, the design came together naturally. The first draft resonated immediately with the client, and after finalising the colours, the logo was ready.
The finished logo is simple, yet powerful. It carries a message of transformation and encounter while staying visually clear and adaptable. The client was delighted with the result, affirming that it captured their vision.
